  • Manuel Barrocas was chair of the International Committee of IADC between 2018 and 2020. IADC, which is based in Chicago, USA, is a centennial lawyers association with a membership of over 50 countries.
  • The firm was awarded Shipping Law Firm of the Year in Portugal (2021).
  • In 2018, one of the firm’s partners was awarded the "Order of the Sacred Treasure" by the Government of Japan as recognition for work carried out by the firm.
  • Several of the firm’s members have lectured on legal matters at leading Portuguese universities and have written and published legal articles and books, both in Portugal and abroad. A few of these texts can be found in the "Publications" section of this site.
